Safe Frontier launches a dedicated technical support center for organizations that employ Intel® vPro™/AMT for securing and managing their computing systems.
Washington, DC 7, August 2013 - Safe Frontier today announced the launch of a dedicated technical Support Center that will help organizations fast-track deployment of systems with Intel® vPro™/Active Management Technology (Intel® AMT).
Intel® AMT is a set of hardware-based capabilities that enhance security and provide independent of the operating system (out-of-band) remote management of desktops, laptops, kiosks, vending, medical and other equipment with Intel® vPro™ processors. Key features include: Keyboard Video Mouse (KVM) remote control, booting devices over network, remote power on/off/reboot, remote access to BIOS settings, system defense, and others.
The Support Center offers system administrator and code level technical assistance, as well as assistance with Intel® AMT deployment. The scope of services includes Intel® AMT SDK, tools, utilities, security, provisioning, troubleshooting, and training of administrators and end-users. These services are available for IT departments, service providers, and software vendors that would like to build solutions with Intel® AMT that help make customer resources more productive, secure, and with lower support costs.
