While a growing number of SMB's are seeking to outsource their security needs to Service Providers, enterprises are more reluctant to do so unless they can retain control and management or their trusted outsourcing partners are implementing and administrating the controls. Indeed, enterprises and small businesses have different IT needs, different requirements, and different priorities especially when it comes to managing their mobile workface. Regulations in certain industries require that companies supervise and secure their data at the location where they are owned or controlled. Companies may have significant data access or auditing requirements that are easier to manage in their own environment. They may have a need to retain physical control of their data or want to manage their risks objectively, or they see their IT infrastructure as a part of their business value.
